If you’re an entrepreneur or have a side hustle, I would bet my favorite LEGO set that someone has asked you to work for free.

It can be tricky to tell a prospective client “no,” especially if the person asking is a friend, but you have permission to stand up for yourself. Whatever you do – if you’re a photographer, a designer, a developer, a writer, a personal trainer, a doctor, a mechanic, a hairstylist, a lawyer, an illustrator, a dog walker, care enough about your craft to charge for it.
